About Me:

Me in a Nut Shell:
On a personal level I am easy to get along with, confident, reliable, trustworthy, composed, and steadfast.  On a professional level I am enthusiastic, dedicated, adaptive, hard working, punctual, task oriented, and most importantly a team player.

Life or Something like it:
I have been interested in computers, video games, and simulators since I first powered up my Atari 2600.  I spent most my adolescence involved with gaming from playing to designing and creating games.  The games created were board games and they ranged from simple Chutes and Ladders style to large intricate Warhammer like strategy games.  I also developed several multiplayer command and conquer map scenarios for stomping my friends across the dial-up.  After graduation I joined up with the Army to be all I could be.  I worked as a specialized electronics technician for the Army for several years.  When I left I looked for work in my field and found the market void of opportunity.  After spending some time working manual labor jobs, I saw one of those "Do you like video games would you like a job making them" adds, which peaked my interest and so I did some research and headed off to college.  I started school at Florida Metropolitan University and acquired my Associates of Science, Computer Science Degree, specializing in programming (C++, Java, Html).  After FMU I enrolled at Full Sail University and got my Bachelors of Science, Game Design and Development Degree, which specialized in the entire software development process from design to implementation.  My experience at Full Sail prepared me to be an asset in any role in the software industry.  After Full Sail I got work in the simulation industry at Adecel Systems, Inc. working on force feedback airport driving and security station simulators.  After about a year there, I moved on to CAE working on scenario development and review tools for the OneSAF training environment.

Favorite Video Game:
Xenogears – It has great characters that you grow with an in-depth story.  Also an awesome combat system that brought turn based menu combat to a whole new level.  Character advancement is well balanced and realistic.  Oh yeah you can use custom mechs to fight enemies.  Xenogears has everything you could want in a RPG.

Favorite Table Top Game:
RISK – Nothing brings friends together like conquering the world.  This is a great game of skill and chance, where the player strategize against, plot and connive against, ally, betray and destroy each other.

Favorite Movie:
We Were Soldiers – This is probably one of the best war movies I have ever seen.  It has a phenomenal cast.  Mel Gibson makes an amazing air cavalry Colonel, and Sam Elliot is the greatest Command Sgt Major ever.   The story is action packed and emotional.  I give it two thumbs up.

Favorite Anime:
The Twelve Kingdoms - Even though it leaves you hanging at the end the story is just amazing.  It is one of those anime that once you start it you don't want to walk away until you've reached the end.  It has an awesome cast for both English and Japanese versions.  The story is progressive and takes you through the main characters growth.  The main character starts off as the type of person you want to slap and yell wake up to but grows to someone you respect in the end.  Great anime I highly recommend buying it.

Favorite TV Series:
Smallville – Come on, how can you not like this show, it is the story of how Superman became Superman.

Favorite Quote:
"Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone."  (Pablo Picasso)

Favorite Bad Joke:
When I die I hope I go like my grandfather did; peacefully and in my sleep not kicking and screaming like the people in his car.
